PAETEC Announces Sale of Trader Voice Service to Speakerbus
Business Wire, June 24, 2009
FAIRPORT, N.Y. -- PAETEC Holding Corp. (NASDAQ GS: PAET), which provides data, voice, and Internet solutions to business-class customers nationwide, announced an agreement for the sale of PAETEC’s Trader Voice product to Speakerbus.
“Financial Services are the largest vertical industry for PAETEC, and one which we intend to continue to grow aggressively,” said Tony Adornato, PAETEC’s senior director of financial markets. “Transitioning the niche Trader Voice service to Speakerbus allows PAETEC to leverage its core competency by retaining the network component and divesting the day-to-day management to the product experts.”
In the most recent fiscal year, these assets generated less than $1 million in revenues.
