MCLEAN, Va. -- Communications Resource Inc. (CRI) announced today that it has been named the Small Business of the Year by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) nominated CRI for support to USDA’s program to provide standardized government-wide secure and reliable forms of ID to FSIS employees and contractors for access to federally-controlled facilities and networks. The program is mandated by Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (Policy for a Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors program). "Winning this award is a true testament to the dedication of the people who continue to foster our relationship between CRI and the USDA," said Victoria Johnson, President and CEO. "Every year we work hard to exceed our customers’ expectations by adding value to every engagement and we'll continue that mission as we look to deliver the most innovative, cost-effective solutions in the market.”
