A.M. Best Withdraws Ratings of United Liberty Life Insurance Company Due to Merger

OLDWICK, N.J. -- A.M. Best Co. has withdrawn the financial strength rating (FSR) of C (Marginal) and issuer credit rating (ICR) of “b” and assigned an NR-5 (Not Formally Followed) to the FSR and an “nr” to the ICR of United Liberty Life Insurance Company (United Liberty) a former subsidiary of Citizens Security Life Insurance Company (Citizens Security) (both of Louisville, KY).

Effective first quarter 2009, United Liberty was merged into Citizens Security.
