ABOUT THE UNIQLO CALENDAR
(1)
A total of 32 locations from seven Japanese cities (including Tokyo, Kyoto, etc.) was filmed for the launch of the site. Through a miniaturizing visual effect, the culture and everyday lifestyle of Japan can be seen from a unique perspective. Viewers can take this as an opportunity to get a new insight into Japan.
(2)
The site contains not just a calendar but also a tool that supplies weather information from a user-selected location. Also, when the visuals on the site are clicked on, the screen switches to a view that displays new UNIQLO products released for that month in a photo mosaic style. Users can enjoy the site as a product catalog that changes along with the seasons. A screensaver application also allows users to enjoy the calendar in a variety of settings.
(3)
Fantastic Plastic Machine, the artist who did the music for the "UNIQLOCK," teamed up with renowned saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu to create a remix of Liszt’s Liebesträume for original background music.
