CDTECH Gasoline Desulfurization Unit Starts up in Greece

Business Wire, June 25, 2009

PASADENA, Texas -- CDTECH today announced that Hellenic Petroleum has successfully started a new 27,000 barrel per day fluid catalytic cracking gasoline desulfurization unit in Greece. The unit utilizes CDTECH technologies to produce ultra-low sulfur gasoline, which reduces vehicle emissions with minimum octane loss. In addition, this unit has the capability to produce a low sulfur diesel stream, which can be blended into the diesel pool. CDTECH’s CDHydro®/CDHDS® technology is unique in that it combines the reactor and distillation process into one piece of equipment resulting in lower investment and operating costs.
