Horne Engineering Services to Support Reconstruction Efforts in Afghanistan

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Horne International, Inc. (OTCBB:HNIN) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Horne Engineering Services, LLC, is part of a team that has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide reconstruction support services in Afghanistan.
This is an IDIQ contract with firm-fixed-price task-orders and has a one-year base period and two option years. The potential value to Horne Engineering over the three-year period is at least $3 million with several task orders already contracted.
Under this contract, Horne Engineering will provide quality assurance oversight for construction projects undertaken by the USACE Afghanistan Engineer District.
