SJI Declares Quarterly Dividend

FOLSOM, N.J. -- South Jersey Industries' (NYSE:SJI) board of directors declared its regular dividend of $0.2975 per share for the first quarter of 2009. The dividend is payable April 2, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business March 10, 2009. This is SJI's 58th consecutive year of paying dividends, reflecting the company's commitment to a consistent, sustainable dividend.
