IDG Consumer and Tech Enthusiasts News and Information Distributed to Media Sites Nationwide Through Mochila
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- IDG has added 44 sites to its syndication network, launched last month, via a partnership with Mochila. IDG is distributing articles, video, and photos to sites including latimes.com, chicagotribune.com, Tampa Bay Online, and denverpost.com. The Tribune Company's Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune are among the most visited newspaper sites in the country.
Editorial content - from gadget and computer reviews to news for gamers and buying guides - is being culled from IDG media brands including PC World, Macworld, Computerworld and GamePro. Media General, serving the southeastern U.S., is providing IDG content to nearly two dozen of its newspaper and TV station websites, including tbo.com, inrich.com and journalnow.com.

IDG's TechNetwork (www.idgtechnetwork.com) sales force is selling ad space, video ads, and custom sponsorships for the syndication program. Advertising revenue will be shared between the media partner, Mochila, and IDG. In addition to syndication ad sales, the IDG TechNetwork also represents non-IDG publishers to advertisers and sponsors.
