Ulmer & Berne Attorney Lynnette L. Rodgers Elected to the Esperanza Board of Directors

CLEVELAND -- Ulmer & Berne LLP announced today the appointment of Lynnette L. Rodgers to the Esperanza Board of Directors. Esperanza strives to enhance educational and economic opportunities for Hispanic Americans in the community. They do this through an array of activities that include in-school tutoring, after-school, summer school, adult computer training, mentoring, leadership, and volunteer programs.
As an attorney with Ulmer & Berne, Ms. Rodgers counsels employers on labor practices and employment discrimination claims, as well as landlords on issues regarding fair housing discrimination claims. She derives her expertise in part from her experience as a field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board. Her experience also includes serving as a policy advisor to Cleveland City Council and investigating various alleged unfair labor practices against unions and employers. Ms. Rodgers received her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (2000), her M.P.A. from the Maxine Goodman Levine College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University (2000), and her B.A. from Cleveland State University (1995), cum laude.
