DeVore Also Now Endorsed by All Members of the State Assembly GOP

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- California State Assemblyman Chuck DeVore today announced Bruce Herschensohn, the 1992 GOP nominee for U.S. Senate, has agreed to join his U.S. Senate campaign as Honorary Chairman. Mr. Herschensohn said, "I've known Chuck DeVore for 20 years. He volunteered on my campaign and has been a stalwart supporter of commonsense conservative principles. I am delighted he is running against Senator Barbara Boxer."

Mr. Herschensohn was an integral part of the Nixon Administration, first, in the U.S. Information Agency and later, in the White House. He also served on the Transition Team of President Ronald Reagan.

"I am grateful for Bruce's support," said DeVore. "As with many grassroots Republicans, I worked hard on Bruce's campaigns and I welcome his public endorsement."

As of today, Chuck DeVore's U.S. Senate candidacy has now been unanimously endorsed by all of the Republican members of the State Assembly. Well more than half of all elected Republican officials in the state have pledged their support to DeVore for California, an unprecedented level of strong and early support.
