NurLogic Design Inc., a San Diego-based semiconductor company, has named three board directors to advise and guide the company in the anticipation of an eventual initial public offering (IPO). The appointed directors are Jim Hogan, Robert Nunn and William Peavey.
Hogan is currently an executive fellow and president of Cadence Design Systems Inc., Japan, a company he joined in 1990. His other achievements include founding roles in the CAD Framework Initiative, Open Verilog International, and the Cadence Analog Alliance. He formerly held executive positions in companies such as Philips Electronics,National Semiconductor Corp., and SmartMachines Inc.
Nunn recently held the position of vice president, general manager, telecom products for Vitesse Semiconductor Corp.and was the companyas chief marketing officer during the companyas IPO in 1991. Prior to joining Vitesse, he held marketing and engineering positions at Monolithic Memories Inc., Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and Hughes Aircraft Co.
Peavy is currently serving at Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. as vice president of finance, chief financial officer and secretary/treasurer. Since joining Peregrine four years ago, Peavy has raised more than $22 million of additional equity financing. He co-founded Breakthrough Systems Inc., an integrated DRAM development company sold to Cirrus Logic Inc. in 1994. In all, Peavy has more than 26 years industry experience.

Adept Technology Inc., San Jose, a factory automation company, has promoted John Dulchinos to the position of vice president of North American sales. Dulchinos, who has more than 15 years of industry experience a 12 of which were acquired at Adept a will be in charge of sales development. Previously director of North American sales, he will now oversee sales administration and application engineering departments.
Automation tools provider Aisys Inc., Santa Clara, Calif., recently named two vice presidents. Ori Intrador is the companyas new vice president of sales and marketing for Europe. He has more than 23 years of sales, marketing, engineering and project management experience. Intradoras former employers include Expert Systems International, an Israel public software company, and SPL WorldGroup Inc. Elan Roth has been appointed to the position of vice president of business development. As such, he will lead Aisysa partnership development campaign, mostly with semiconductor vendors, in order to expand Aisysa support of key microprocessors. His most recent positions include PC Software Inc., a company based in Israel, andIBM, where he held marketing and sales positions. Roth has more than 12 years experience in high-tech business development, marketing and project management.
