New Forces Are Changing DRAM Market Landscape

The topography of the DRAM terrain is changing rapidly, incorporating a multitude of applications that will continue to pilot DRAM demand in new directions. Bit growth, an average of more than 75 percent from year to-year, will be augmented as new and numerous application appear on the horizon, encompassing not only PCs, but also graphics, telecom, networking, communications, wireless, consumer electronics and server-related products for Internet connections.
This changing landscape will present forward-looking companies with many opportunities. For memory makers, this market diversification bodes well for future DRAM market growth.
