Cypress Completes IC Works Buy

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. completed the public offer of 7.2 million shares and its merger with IC Works, Inc. Cypress's portion of the offer was implemented to facilitate a pooling of interests on the IC Works deal. Combined first quarter performance could be in the range of $148 to $153 million in revenues, with earnings in the 8 to 9 cents per share.
Both are up from analyst estimates. Figures exclude transaction-tied costs.
