Cadence Design Services Enters Information Appliance Design Market

Cadence also announced the expansion of its design services dedicated to information appliance design by joining the Microsoft Windows CE System Integrator Program and a partnership with Mainbrace Corp., a Windows CE developer. Cadence has established a dedicated team to specialize in all phases of electronic appliance design from system architecture to chips and board design to mechanical design.
In addition, this team leverages Cadence worldwide network of design expertise in wireless and wired connectivity, multimedia, digital IC and analog/mixed-signal IC design. As part of the Microsoft Windows CE System Integrator program, Cadence said it will enable the companies to collaborate on technical and marketing activities in this market.
