Motorola Purchases Ultima's Delay Analysis Tools
Electronic News, April 12, 1999
Ultima Interconnect Technology Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., announced that Motorola Inc.'s Semiconductor Products Sector in Austin, Texas recently made a volume purchase of Ultima's delay analysis tool, Ultima Millennium, for its microcontroller core-based design flow. The purchase came after extensive benchmark and production chip tests, Ultima said, which included a series of successful chip designs using the 32-bit ColdFire microcontroller core.
As a result, Motorola is standardizing on Ultima Millennium for timing verification and their timing-driven design flow.
