PartMiner, Cahners Team for Design Center Information on e-inSITE
Electronic News, April 30, 2001 by Peter Brown
PARTMINER INC. AND CAHNERS BUSINESS INFORMATION, A MEMBER OF REED Elsevier plc group, last week said that PartMiner's design center information content technology and services component from its Free Trade Zone have been integrated into Cahners e-inSITE.net.
PartMiner of New York said it has integrated its entire design center catalog of more than 12 million electronic components to the e-inSITE.net interface. This includes part specifications, data sheets, application notes and side-by-side comparisons. PartMiner said its design center features semiconductors, passives, connectors and electromechanical devices from more than 1,800 manufacturers. This allows users to take advantage of PartMiner's services without having to link to the Free Trade Zone to request quotes for board-level electronic components.
Cahners Business Information, the parent company of Electronic News, owns an equity stake in PartMiner.
