Electronic News, May 6, 2002 by Rob Spiegel

Avnet design services (ads), a unit of phoenix-based Avnet Inc., and Denali Software of Palo Alto, Calif., have agreed to develop and distribute memory controller IP cores for high-speed DRAM. Denali's Databahn product will be used to generate the high-level language description of memory controller cores.

ADS will target these cores to Xilinx FPGA devices to produce customer-ready IP cores. "Avnet Design Services is providing FPGA design expertise to implement the Databahn memory controller IP into Xilinx FPGAs," said Kevin Silver, VP of marketing for Denali.
