Future Electronics taps webMethods - Off the Shelf - Brief Article

FUTURE ELECTRONICS, MONTREAL, HAS CHOSEN FAIRFAX, VA.-based webMethods Inc. and its integration platform to connect existing applications with new IT initiatives, including enterprise Web services. Using the platform, Future will be able to tie new applications such as i2's discovery knowledge manager with existing applications.
"Future Electronics sought the leader in integration software," said Brad Hudon, director of IT development at Future. "The success of our overall IT strategy hinged on incorporating a comprehensive integration solution that could support not only current legacy systems but also new systems and applications for efficient business process automation."
