National Instruments Opens Online Store

Electronic News, March 8, 1999

Austin, Texas - National Instruments opened a new Web site it calls the Online Store, for selling the more than 700 computer-based measurement and automation applications offered by the company. Located at www.natinst.com/store, the site gives customers a single location to view product specifications, to see pricing information in local currencies (U.S. or Canadian dollars, yen or euros) and to place orders.

Pete Zogas, National Instruments' vice president of sales, said the Online Store is "the perfect complement to our direct business model for providing real-time assistance. If you know which products you want, the Online Store provides 24-hour access to our order systems. If you need help with your application, experienced sales engineers are readily available to configure a custom solution." n
