Tyco-Raychem Date Set

The Tyco acquisition of Raychem Corp., Menlo Park, Calif., is progressing. Raychem said a special meeting of Raychem stockholders will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12 to consider a proposal to approve and adopt the agreement and plan of merger and reorganization, dated as of May 19, among Raychem, Tyco International Ltd., and Tyco International (PA) Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tyco.
A special committee of the Raychem board of directors set a record date of July 7 for determining the stockholders of Raychem entitled to notice of and to vote at the special meeting.
