Avnet names Vogt VP and general manager - Off the Shelf - Roland Vogt - Brief Article

A VNET COMPUTER MARKETING, PARTNER SOLUTIONS, HAS appointed Roland Vogt as VP and general manager for the Central Region, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this position, Vogt will focus on further extending the value Avnet Partner Solutions can offer both suppliers and customers, Avnet said.
The company is a unit of Phoenix-based Avnet Inc. "Roland Vogt has a proven track record of success," said George Smith, president of Avnet Computer Marketing Europe. "His extensive consultancy and management experience along with his in-depth understanding of the distribution business make Roland's significant addition to our team.
