Credence Completes Integrated Measurement Systems Acquisition, Combines It with Fluence Technology

FREMONT, CALIF.-BASED AUTOMATED TEST EQUIPMENT (ATE) supplier Credence Systems Corp. has completed its acquisition of Beaverton, Ore.-based Integrated Measurement Systems Inc. (IMS) and plans to combine it with its other Oregon-based subsidiary, Fluence Technology. The combined subsidiary will bear the IMS name.
Keith Barnes, chairman and chief executive officer of IMS, will head the subsidiary as an executive vice president of Credence (nasdaq: CMOS) and president of IMS. He will report to Graham Siddall, president and CEO of Credence.
