Sun SPARCs to go Online

Sun Microsystems Microelectronics, San Jose, soon will add the SPARC MPU to its Community Source Licensing model, it is expected. This would mark the first time such an MPU architecture would be available on the Web. The company is also expected to waive any fees during the initial evaluation and development phase, though no pricing model has been released yet.
