San Jose-based Circuit Semantics Inc. recently named Gary Larsen as chief executive officer. Larsen comes to CSI with more than 20 years of senior management experience in the electronic design automation industry. Previously, Larsen served as senior vice president and general manager of the EPIC Technology Group at Synopsys Inc., where he was responsible for the company's successful transistor-level analysis and physical verification tools.
He also led the worldwide sales and services organization for EPIC Design Technology, which merged with Synopsys in 1997.
