> AFTER LOWERING ITS FOURTH-QUARTER GUIDANCE TO THE Street last week, Simplex Solutions Inc. today will change its tune when it says nine more companies have joined the X Initiative consortium to proliferate diagonal routing in IC design and fabrication. The companies are HPL Technologies, Leica Microsystems AG, RUBICAD, Sagantec, Sanyo Electric, Silicon Valley Research, Sycon Design, Toppan Printing and Zygo.
