Fairchild and Arrow collaborate - Off the Shelf - Brief Article

FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR INTERNATIONAL OF SOUTH Portland, Maine, and Melville, N.Y.-based Arrow Electronics Inc. have joined together to deploy one of the RosettaNet standard PIPs (partner interface process) to automate information on parts eligible for design registration. "This is Fairchild's first RosettaNet exchange for demand-creation processes and it represents an important milestone," said Hans Wildenberg, executive VP of worldwide sales and marketing at Fairchild.

He noted the deal was accomplished over a 60-day period.
