Avnet CT debuts WIN program

TEMPE, ARIZ.-BASED AVNET CONVERGENT TECHNOLOGIES (Avnet CT), part of Avnet Inc., last week introduced its Wireless Initiative Network (WIN) program. The WIN program is intended to be an active partner network that brings together select value-added resellers and software developers with Symbol Technologies Inc. of Holtsville, N.Y., and Avnet CT The program was designed to provide IT resellers with new ways to deliver complete end-to-end vertical solutions that run on wireless and mobile computing technologies from Symbol to end-users through strategic partnerships.

"Wireless solutions and mobile computing applications represent one of the fastest-growing segments in technology today," said Michael Dunham, VP of sales and marketing for Avnet CT. "With the announcement of the WIN program and its design to be an active program for select partners, we are confident that WIN members will be able to convert opportunities into profitable revenue in these rapidly emerging markets by driving complete end-to-end solutions to the end-user."
