Price war looms for gaming systems: Silver lining: price cuts could spur demand for semis

Maybe consumers will say this is a reasonable price and decide to buy. This will help everyone in the electronics industry, but component inventories are still enormous. Components this year for the consumer industry have already been shipped," Perris said.
