Richardson Electronics picks up NEC-Mitsubishi displays - Off the Shelf - Brief Article

RICHARDSON ELECTRONICS LTD. OF LAFOX, ILL., LAST WEEK announced that its display integration division, Pixelink, has signed an agreement with NEC Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America Inc. of Itasca, Ill. With the agreement, Pixelink will become what NEC-Mitsubishi calls an authorized North America Select Integrator of touch screens and protective glass panels for a specific group of their LCD products. "The Integration Select program takes our longstanding partnership with NEC-Mitsubishi to an even higher level of customer service by providing increased customization for our reseller and dealer network," said Mark Rafalski, product marketing manager for integrated products at Richardson.
"The synergy between NEC-Mitsubishi and Pixelink's display solutions is a natural fit for the growing demand of LCD touch-screen products," said Lisa Ahern, program manager for NEC-Mitsubishi. "This agreement gives us the opportunity to expand on our successful relationship."
