Sparc - Sun Microsystems names Mike Splain vp - Company Operations

"The value of Mike's work on Sparc, the flagship processor for Sun, is immeasurable," the company said.
Sun has built the foundation of its business on its more than 10 years of Sparc processor technology and has been delivering 64-bit performance for more than three years and through two generations.
