Hershey Co. last week said its stockholders approved the company's name change from Hershey Foods Corp. "We look forward to opening a new chapter in our history as The Hershey Company. This new name reflects our company's exceptional heritage and is how our consumers and customers best know us," said Richard H.

Lenny, chairman, president and chief executive, in a statement. "It also conveys Hershey's promising future as we continue to focus on building momentum in the confectionery and broader snacks markets."
