The Kroger Co. announced that William T. Boehm has been promoted to group vice president of logistics. Boehm most recently served as vice president of logistics. In his new position, he is responsible for the company's nationwide distribution system, including facility planning and construction, logistics capital management, supply chain technology, and transportation.

Glacier Water Services, Inc. announced the appointment of Brian McInerney to the position of CEO. McInerney was most recently vice president of Honeywell International where he was responsible for the Worldwide Autolite Products Division.

NuCo2 Inc., a supplier of bulk CO2 systems for carbonating and dispensing fountain beverages, has appointed Gregg F. Stewart as chief financial officer and executive vice president. Stewart was most recently chief financial officer and vice president of finance and treasurer at TradeStation Group, Inc., a trading strategy software company and direct access brokerage firm.

Staglin Family Vineyard, of the Rutherford Bench, California in Napa Valley, has tapped Andrew Erickson as its winemaker. Erickson joins Staglin Family Vineyard from the Harlan Estate Winery in Oakville, Calif., where he served as assistant winemaker. He has also worked at the Spottswoode Vineyard and Winery, as well as Newton Vineyard, both in St. Helena, Calif.

Iain Napier, CEO of Bass Brewers resigned from Bass Plc. Napier said his resignation was a personal choice. Bass Plc announced Jerry Fowden as Napier's successor. Fowden was chief operating officer of Bass Brewers between 1994 and 1996 and rejoins Bass from the board of Rank Group Plc.

Jeffrey D. Gargiulo was unanimously confirmed as president and chief executive officer of Sunkist Growers, Inc., the country's oldest and largest citrus marketing cooperative. His selection followed a five-month, nationwide search.

AFC Enterprises, Inc., the franchisor and operator of Church's Chicken, Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, Cinnabon, Seattle's Best Coffee and Torrefazione Italia, announced the appointment of three new members to its board of directors. Gerald J. Wilkins, executive vice president and chief financial officer of AFC Enterprises, Carolyn Hogan Byrd, chairman and chief executive officer of GlobalTech Financial, LLC and Victor Arias, Jr., executive vice president and regional managing director for the Dallas office of DHR International, Inc. will join the 11-member AFC Board of Directors immediately.

Hershey Foods Corporation announced that David J. West has been named Vice President, Business Planning and Development. In this newly created position, West will be responsible for corporate strategy and planning, business development, and special projects.
