Opta Food Ingredients, Inc., Bedford, Mass., began initial shipments of Opta Oat Fiber to a major quick service restaurant chain that had been testing the ingredient in recent months. While unable to name the restaurant chain, the company said the agreement represents a major, multi-million dollar opportunity.
