Chalone Wine Group Ltd. said that it expects majority shareholder Domaines Barons de Rothschild to extend its cash offer to buy the Napa Valley winemaker to Aug. 27. In May, Domaines Barons de Rothschild offered to buy the 54 percent of Chalone it doesn't already own for $9.25 a share. The company wants to merge Chalone with Constellation Brands and Huneeus Vintners.
