At the request of the Red Cross and Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, Anheuser-Busch is supplying emergency drinking water as part of the relief effort in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The brewer was planning to ship some 12,500 cases of drinking water to Montgomery, Alabama, where it would wait to be shipped to relief agencies on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Mississippi.
