> Ireland's Kerry Group has reportedly acquired a U.S. food ingredients firm in order to increase its presence in North America. Kerry purchased Oregon-based firm Janas for an undisclosed sum, reported Business World Ireland. The company makes biscuit dough and ice cream ingredients. Janas, whose customers include Ben and Jerry's, Baskin Robbins and American Airlines, has estimated annual sales of $20 million.
