Campbell Soup Co

Food & Drink Weekly, Sept 18, 2000

Campbell Soup Co. unveiled a new line of seven ready-to-eat soups, in an attempt to win back customers who have defected from the company's flagship red-and-white-labeled condensed soup brand. The Ready-to-Serve Classics line will combine the familiar flavors of its condensed line, such as chicken noodle, tomato and alphabet vegetable, with a more convenient ready-to-eat design.

The new soups, which are aimed at the office lunch crowd, carry a suggested retail price of $1.29.
