National Cattlemen's Beef Association has restructured its retail marketing team based on geographic location and industry needs. The restructuring involves the addition of retail and food service program responsibilities for Carl Blackwell, executive director of product marketing. In this newly formed position, Blackwell will oversee all retail and foodservice marketing efforts, as well as those of the new products and culinary center.

Also, as part of the restructuring, six internal key account manager positions were created in the following regions: Pacific, Northern, Southern, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and California. The key account managers, residing in their geographic areas of focus, will be responsible for working with state beef councils and retailers in their region, to better execute beef sales programs at the meat case level.
