Campbell Soup Company announced the appointment of Jay Gould to the position of chief marketing officer, Pepperidge Farm, Incorporated. Gould comes to Pepperidge Farm from The Coca-Cola Company, where he most recently served as vice president-portfolio development and innovation for the Global Marketing Division.

From 1992 to 1995, Gould ran his own highly successful specialty frozen foods company, Full Service Marketing. He was then recruited by Coca-Cola to become vice president of Kid's Business Team and New Products, for the Minute Maid unit in Houston. He then advanced to senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Minute Maid. From 1998 to 2000, Gould served as senior vice president of marketing, for the Coca-Cola Japan Company.
