Carrols Corporation, owner operator of Taco Cabana, Polio Tropical and Burger King's largest franchisee, has expanded its management team with the addition of John Haywood as chief concept officer responsible for the company's Hispanic Brands Division. Haywood has served in a number of capacities over his seventeen years in the restaurant industry, including employment with Jerrico Inc.

where he worked on the development of Fazolis, a quick-casual Italian concept. His most recent experiences are in the capacity of independent consultant where he has served as contract chief executive officer of Don Shula's Steak Houses and contract Vice President of Operations for Cookexpress, a joint venture with Omaha Steaks.
