As someone who has been attending races at the Lowe's Motor Speedway for years, I want to thank you for your entertaining and informative profile of Humpy Wheeler ["The Greatest Showman on Earth," January]. His innovations, particularly the military reenactments, really do make the experience of attending an event that much better.
If you've never attended a race live, I invite you to come on down to Charlotte and see a first-class event put on by a first-class individual.
