Christine Applewhite ("The Fans Speak Out," May 2002) claimed that "CART has it all." She's right! The league has all of the chaos, confusion, and controversy that can possibly be found in today's auto racing. At the current rate of self-destruction, it won't be too long before CART crashes its way into oblivion.

I wish that people would start to lay off CART. Sure, the series has had some rough times and odd decisions, but this is a new era. Christopher Pook seems to be turning things around over there and he and the board of directors shouldn't continue to suffer for the sins of the past.
