Players With Hitting Streaks of 30 or More Games

THROUGH THE 2007 SEASON, THERE HAVE BEEN 43 HITTING STREAKS THAT
REACHED 30 CONSECUTIVE GAMES ACCOMPLISHED BY 41 different players
--only Ty Cobb and George Sisler had two skeins of 30 or more games.
It should be noted that some streaks occurred prior to 1900 when the
game was governed by different rules For example, in 1896-97 when
Willie Keeler put together a 45 game hitting streak, batters were not
charged with a strike for hitting a foul ball. Below is a chart of all
major league players who have put together a 30-game hitting streak.
