Basketball Digest, Jan, 2003 by Jim Schneider
Regarding your Men's Top 25 selections [December 2002], while I disagree with your top three (Oklahoma, Arizona, and Kansas, each of those teams have a good shot at the Final Four--so at least I can chalk one up for your opinion.
In regard to your preseason All-Americans, however, one of us is going to look mighty foolish, and I believe it will be you.
While I don't have a clue as to your bias, I am as certain that you are equally clueless when you have Kansas' Nick Collison on your Third Team and don't include Jayhawk Kirk Hinrich on any of your teams.
Certainly picking preseason All-Americans can be a challenge, but I am certain that you totally missed the boat on these two young men.
