* Bucks GM Ernie Grunfeld was Milwaukee's first-round pick (No. 11 overall) in the 1977 NBA draft.

* George Karl's 50-6 record at the helm of the Albany Patroons in 1990-91 is the CBA's all-time best mark.

* Assistant Don Newman was cut from Boston Celtics camp in 1980 but played for the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets of the NFL.
