Pro-am fan

Bowling Digest, Spring, 2004 by Mick Weiss

My son and I recently went to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where we bowled in a pro-am event. We had a blast. Everything ran so smoothly, and it was exciting to bowl with the very same pros we have been watching on TV for so long. They were all so gracious about signing autographs and posing for pictures.

They were happy to do it. They shook hands and introduced themselves to everyone on the lanes they were bowling on. There were no bad attitudes or language. The overpaid athletes in other sports should take some tips from these guys.
