It Really Is a Family Affair - Qubica USA International Family Tournament - Brief Article

THEY SAY THE FAMILY that bowls together stays together. Now the BPAA makes it possible for the family that bowls together to also win bags of money together. Yes, it's back: the Qubica USA International Family Tournament. The IFT is the only sporting event in the U.S. in which parents and children compete for a national championship. This year's event will take place at the The Main Event Entertainment Center in Grapevine, Texas from July 26 through 29.

The teams of parents and children qualify for the national finals as state champions, and the eventual winners will receive $30,000 in scholarship money. The event will be taped by Nickelodeon for future broadcast on one of its cable networks.
