VanTech offers its latest digital scoring system - New Products & Industry News - Brief Article

Bowling Digest, August, 2002

VANTECH--KNOWN FOR PROVIDING bowling centers with an integrated product line of furniture and fixtures with a stream-lined look--now brings its modern approach to scoring systems.

The VanTech Matrix scoring system has sensational graphics and allows for six lanes to be monitored by one computer. In addition, the system provides instant shot replay, ball-speed indication, instant league-standing print-outs, and video feed, and includes digital video, videotape, and three options for television viewing. The Matrix scoring system operates through embedded Windows XP and is designed to work with its own built-in league secretary program.

"VanTech is committed to increasing bowler enjoyment and increasing profits for bowling centers," VanTech president Mark Schmidt says. "We believe in products that are designed to last, require little or no maintenance, and have long-term flexibility and support. Although this system is new, its operation will be dependable and trustworthy."

VanTech is a division of the Denver-based Vantage Bowling Corporation. Vantage manufactures and supplies capital products to bowling centers, including pinspotters (and replacement parts for AMF and Brunswick pinspotters), ball returns, seating and tables, scoring systems, center management systems, masking systems, and synthetic lanes.
