Track's Silencer Leaves the Competition Speechless - bowling ball - Brief Article - Product Announcement

TRACK INC. HAS INTRODUCED THE Silencer, a bowling ball that combines the manufacturer's best cover stock with cutting-edge core technology to deliver high flare potential and the highest hook rating of any Track ball. The new ball features Track's Ringed Core2 technology and is wrapped in ProTracktion Plus cover stock. This lethal combination means more mid-lane hook, strong flip, and a major boost in the angle of entry.

"The Silencer delivers the greatest angle of entry of any particle technology cover on the market today," says Track president Phil Cardinale. "This new ball offers our customers the most innovative design today; combined with cutting-edge cover technology."

Featuring multiple density four-piece construction, the Silencer sports a hook rating of 20, the highest on Track's ball reaction chart, and high flare potential. With its Ringed Core2 technology, it has a 2.52 radius of gyration with a .050 differential. The new ball has a 76-78 hardness rating, and its Pro Tracktion Plus cover stock comes with a sheen finish.

The ball is bruiser blue and black with yellow logo fill. The Silencer is available in 14- to 16-pound weights with the Ringed Core2 design, 12- to 13-pound weights with Core2 technology design, and 10- to 11-pound weights with a traditional pancake core design. It is recommended for use in heavy oil conditions with its box finish, medium oil with a polished finish, and pin placement between zero and five inches.
