I enjoyed your cover story on Eli Manning in the Summer 2004 issue ["The Next in Line"]. It was a very thorough look at the young quarterback, but I don't agree with your assessment that he's gong to be better than his dad Archie and brother Peyton. Making things tougher for Eli is that he wound up in New York. The media and the fans will eat him alive if he struggles. In addition, the Giants aren't a very good team, which will make it all the tougher for him to learn how to play quarterback in the NFL, I wish Eli the best, but I'm not optimistic.
